Sacha Inchi

The Sacha Inchi (Plukenetia Volúbilis Linneo) is a plant native to the Peruvian Amazon. This Amazonian plant, known to the natives for thousands of years, was used by pre-Inca cultures and the Incas as evidenced by ceramics found in tombs.

Current scientific studies point to sacha Inchi as the best oilseed due to its composition and high nutritional quality: the oil has a high content of essential fatty acids Omega 3 (more than 48%) and Omega 6 (36%).

Its digestibility is very high (more than 96%), antioxidants vitamin A and alpha-tocopherol vitamin E. More than 60% of the defatted almond is high quality complete protein (99% digestible), very rich in essential and non-essential amino acids, in quantities sufficient for health.
